A fabric usually relegated to standard dish towels in Brazil gets reinvented into shorts with hand crocheted patchwork. Each piece takes up to four days to make and are made by Duda's three aunts, Tia Zezeca, Tia Rosa and Tia Vera who first hand crochet each patch and later sew together the patches and trims to create this special finished piece.
