A design so complex we debated if was it was worth producing. Each Joao Patchwork Shirt takes up to five days to complete. The crocheted patches are first hand made by Duda's three aunts, Tia Zezeca, Tia Rosa and Tia Vera, in Duda's mom's living room. The trimmings and patches are methodically sewn onto a soft yellow linen, following a distinctive pattern developed by Duda's mother, Ingrid. A shirt so unique and lovely we decided in the end it was worth the endeavor.
